China Comac C909 aircraft secures Cambodia's largest overseas order

Foreign media: China Commercial Aircraft Corporation (Comac) has won one of its largest overseas orders, with Cambodia Air announcing the possible purchase of 20 C909 aircraft.

The C909 aircraft has 78 to 97 seats and is designed for short-haul flights ranging from 2225 kilometers to 3700 kilometers. As of July, Comac has delivered 166 C909 aircraft, which have carried more than 24 million passengers on over 700 routes.

Previously, Indonesia, Laos, and Vietnam had introduced the C909 aircraft, making Cambodia the fourth country in Southeast Asia to accept this model. Comac has also established offices in Hong Kong and Singapore to further expand its business in the Southeast Asian market.
