"The price of aviation fuel will remain high."

According to The New York Times, International Air Transport Association (IATA) CEO Willie Walsh said that even if the Strait of Hormuz reopens, it will take several months for the global aviation fuel market to return to normal, mainly due to disruptions in oil refining operations in the Middle East.

"Due to ongoing issues with oil refineries in the Middle East, even after the strait reopens, it will still take several months for global supply to normalize. Although blockages in the refining process could lead to a drop in crude oil prices, the price of aviation fuel will remain elevated."
