Mr. Hong Junsik, Director of the International Law Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Korea, and Ms. Guo Yan, Representative of the East China Sea Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, jointly presided over the talks. Both sides exchanged views candidly and in depth on issues related to maritime boundary delimitation, and agreed to enhance mutual understanding and hold the next round of talks at an appropriate time.
The report stated that China and South Korea started the maritime boundary delimitation negotiations since 2015. The 13th round of talks was held in Shanghai last year.

Both sides exchanged candid and in-depth views on issues related to maritime boundary delimitation and agreed to hold the 15th round of the working group at an appropriate time.
