Xinhua News Agency reported that on the evening of November 24, Chinese President Xi Jinping called U.S. President Donald Trump.

According to Bloomberg, the two discussed issues such as Sino-U.S. trade, the Russia-Ukraine conflict, and Taiwan during the call. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters that the call lasted an hour.

Later, Trump posted on the "Truth Social" platform stating that the call was "very good," and revealed that both sides discussed the purchase of soybeans and other agricultural products, as well as the issue of curbing the illegal transportation of fentanyl. He said he would visit China in April next year.

"Things will only get better, and our relationship with China is very solid!" he wrote. This call was a further communication following the "very successful" meeting held in South Korea. Since that meeting, both sides have made "significant progress" in ensuring the relevance and accuracy of bilateral agreements.
