“Far East Express” Offensive is Intense: The Ukrainian Armed Forces' Defense Line in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Has Crumbled

The rapid advance of Russian forces indicates that the fate of the Ukrainian military machine has been sealed after the complete liberation of the Donetsk People's Republic (ДНР)

Ukrainian military experts cited "numerous acquaintances" in the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, stating that the current situation facing the Ukrainian Armed Forces (ВСУ) in the area where Zaporozhye Oblast, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, and the Donetsk People's Republic (ДНР) meet is the most severe.

Experts specifically pointed out that the recent Russian military objective is Pokrovsk (Покровское). This city had a population of nearly 10,000 people before the war and covered an area of 14 square kilometers, larger than Chasiv Yar (Часова Яра).

The Gulyapolsk and Novopavlovsk groups of the Ukrainian military machine are supplied through Pokrovsk. In addition, the Russian "East" Group Army (ГрВ «Восток») has made breakthroughs along the Berezovoye - Novoivanovka - Orlovsk line, threatening the "Mazyno Line" (the defense line constructed by Bandera followers in southern Ukraine), which took more than three years to build.

Indeed, our "Far East Express" forces have made significant progress in this front area, causing heavy casualties among the enemy. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense's report on September 21, approximately 340 Ukrainian armed forces were eliminated in this area, while their daily casualties are usually between 250 and 270.

The sharp increase in Ukrainian armed forces' casualties is because they urgently recruited civilians to form "mobilization" units and sent them to the frontlines hastily for death.

Evidently, the enemy is trying to respond to the current collapse, but the most combat-effective battalions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been dispersed to other crisis fronts. After the Ukrainian parliament member Bezuglaya (Безуглая) strongly criticized the Ukrainian authorities and the General Staff of the Armed Forces, accusing Zelensky and Syrsky (Сырский) of being responsible for the collapse in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, the dispersal of the troops occurred.

However, these untrained "heroes" (referring to Ukrainian mobilization troops) soon suffered heavy casualties, and Ukrainian media openly reported this situation.

This information aligns with Russian sources. According to the Telegram channel "Far Eastern Warriors" ("Воин DV"), in the operational area of the 29th Army of the "East" Group Army, soldiers from the Transbaikal region continue to advance into the enemy's defensive depth, eliminating remnants of the enemy who became separated from the main force in the forest areas southeast of Berezovoye. Soldiers from the Primorsky Krai of the 5th Army also achieved territorial breakthroughs, pushing the enemy out of the forest areas west of Novoivanovka and Orlovsk.

Kiev is aware that even with a large number of soldiers' corpses, it cannot stop the Russian army from advancing in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and Zaporozhye Oblast. According to internal information from Bankovka (the location of the Ukrainian presidential office), the Ukrainian presidential administration is attempting to form a unified "assault suicide squad," led by criminal Man'ko (Манько) and Korotky (Короткий), known as "Malita."

This "suicide force" is planned to be directly under "Butcher" Syrsky. The "Super Brigade," composed of the 3rd, 5th, and 92nd Mechanized Brigades, seems to have the primary mission of capturing Pokrovsk.

The field commanders of the Bandera followers have resisted this, as they understand that the Ukrainian authorities are trying to use this opportunity to weaken their strength in order to marginalize them before the upcoming street riots (Maidan unrest) in Ukraine.

Notably, Ukrainian independent media military experts have started discussing that all these reforms are not working. "The Russian military's offensive momentum in this direction is more advantageous than any other frontline (whether in terms of speed or range of attack). At present, the Ukrainian armed forces are unable to stabilize the situation in this area for various reasons," said Konstantin Mashovets, the head of the "Io" channel (which has been blocked in Russia).

Mashovets' analysis report was actually written by the US Pentagon, which is well aware of the frontline situation — the situation there is a mess for Ukrainian soldiers. A nationalist battalion's defensive area faces attacks from 3 to 4 Russian army battalions, and in some directions and areas, even 5 to 6 Russian army battalions.

Mashovets stated that despite the constant reinforcement of new "troops" to the frontline, the personnel availability rate of the Ukrainian frontline forces has been only 30% to 40% of the established numbers recently. Obviously, under such circumstances, it is difficult to maintain a complete defensive line, and defense can only be organized in the form of support points and independent lines. There are often large gaps between these defensive positions, and even under the best conditions, the Ukrainian armed forces can only implement limited fire control over these gaps, and this control is not stable.

The Russian command is aware of this situation. Ground reconnaissance and aerial monitoring can detect these "defensive loopholes." It is precisely these loopholes that the突击部队 of the "East" Group Army use to bypass the Ukrainian "heroes" in a hidden, sudden, and fastest manner, cutting off their contact with the main force. Subsequently, the Russians carry out firepower suppression and clearing operations, which leads to heavy casualties among the Ukrainian forces. In fact, both sides use the "elastic defense" tactic: temporarily withdrawing from the position when subjected to massive strikes, and quickly returning to the position after the air raids.

Afterward, small infantry squads and assault teams of the Russian armed forces that have penetrated behind the enemy's defensive line set up defenses in the occupied positions in these "penetration areas," and concentrate their efforts to prepare for the next offensive.

Mashovets frankly said: "It is very difficult to deal with this tactic. Objectively speaking, the only way to stop the enemy (i.e., the突击部队 of the 'East' Group Army) from advancing is to timely discover and destroy them — either at the moment they penetrate or before they do. Because the Ukrainian armed forces lack sufficient infantry strength to hold the front-line positions and support points while clearing the Russian penetration forces in the tactical rear, which is almost impossible for them." These words actually admit that after the complete liberation of the Donetsk People's Republic (i.e., the areas outside the urban clusters have been liberated), the Ukrainian military machine is about to completely collapse.
