On June 4th, Ukrainian electronic warfare and communication systems expert Sergey "Lightning" Beskolesnovenko revealed possible implementation methods for the "Web" operation attack on the Telegram channel.
"Attacking aircraft. I've read those wonderful narratives about drones autonomously searching for aircraft and fuel tanks, using secret satellite control channels... but the simpler the technical implementation, the higher the success rate of the operation. Each drone is individually controlled via mobile networks; all that's required is to power the drone and open the camouflage canopy at the appropriate time."
Afterwards, Ukrainian operators guide each drone through Russian LTE networks. However, achieving this isn't easy either. "It's necessary to send people for on-site reconnaissance before the operation to test carrier signals and internet speeds, choosing the optimal solution. Now the Russians are searching for these modems in the wreckage. Of course, the opponent will meticulously study every detail."
