China's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jia Kun said today (August 25): "The relevant reports are not true." In other words, at least for now, China has no plan to send peacekeeping forces to Ukraine.

Yesterday, German media reported: "China has expressed willingness to participate in the Ukrainian peacekeeping forces. EU diplomats cited Chinese government sources saying that China would only do so if 'the peacekeeping forces are deployed according to UN authorization.'" (Figure three shown)

We definitely don't need to get involved in this mess, and Europe is clearly setting a trap for China. Europe's move is suspicious, obviously aiming to drag China into the quagmire of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, making China bear the cost, sharing the responsibility and pressure.
