Sputnik News, Geneva, March 3 - In a letter addressed to the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Mirjana Spoljaric Egger, the Representative of Iran to the United Nations Office at Geneva, Ali Bahreini, stated that it is "one step away" from reaching a new Iranian nuclear agreement, but the US has been proven an unreliable partner in the negotiations.

Bahreini said: "At the moment when progress was being made and the agreement acceptable to both sides was just one step away, the US once again demonstrated that it is not a reliable negotiating partner and has been using Iran's peaceful nuclear program as an excuse for aggression."
