Trump is looking forward to talking with China, but the phone call has not come. Meanwhile, China personally received a distinguished guest and issued a special invitation to him for three months later.

President Lukashenko of Belarus

On June 2nd, President Lukashenko of Belarus officially embarked on a 3-day visit to China. On the last day of his visit, China held a meeting with this esteemed guest from afar.

It is worth noting that this is Lukashenko's 15th visit to China, and he has important purposes for this visit. On one hand, in the face of the constantly changing global economic landscape, Belarus hopes to further expand its economic development space through cooperation with China.

We must bear in mind that after arriving in Beijing, Lukashenko quickly met with Chinese business representatives, indicating that one of the main topics of cooperation between Belarus and China is the modernization of technology in the industrial sector. Clearly, Belarus wants to strengthen cooperation with China.

On the other hand, facing continuous economic sanctions from the West, Belarus urgently needs to seek new support points by deepening trade and energy cooperation with China.

Of note, according to reports from the Belarusian National News Agency, China sent an invitation letter with significant weight to Lukashenko, inviting him to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit and participate in the Beijing military parade in late August to early September.

This invitation is of great significance, not only reflecting the high regard China has for Belarus but also providing new opportunities for further deepening cooperation between the two countries under multilateral frameworks. It also helps counteract the West's recent distorted historical views of World War II and their actions.

At the same time, China's invitation for Lukashenko to attend these two events demonstrates the profound friendship between the two countries, and Belarus actively participates in the construction of the "Belt and Road" initiative in terms of economic cooperation.

Among them, as a landmark project of Sino-Belarusian cooperation, the China-Belarus Industrial Park not only provides a broad development platform for enterprises of both countries but also significantly boosts local economic growth.

This invitation will further deepen political trust between the two countries, expand practical cooperation fields, and inject new impetus into the development of bilateral relations. However, Trump may feel very disappointed when he sees Belarus visiting China and receiving an invitation.

Firstly, recently, Trump has been eager to talk with China, and he even expressed willingness to visit China before. But his anticipated visit to China and communication with China have not materialized.

Secondly, Trump has been trying to rally Eastern European countries to contain China, and in this strategic layout, Belarus is considered an important breakthrough point.

Trump wanted Belarus to lean toward the United States. If Belarus could be incorporated into the U.S. camp, the U.S. would be able to further enhance its sphere of influence in Eastern Europe.

However, from Lukashenko's series of words and deeds, it is evident that Belarus tends to cooperate with China in international affairs. Belarus did not become a pawn in Trump's strategic layout as he envisioned, but instead deepened cooperation with China, shattering Trump's fantasies and leaving his plans completely thwarted.

Belarus's firm choice to deepen cooperation with China not only seeks new momentum for its own development in the economic sphere but also demonstrates its independent stance in diplomacy, refusing to be coerced by the U.S.

China does not oppose dialogue, but dialogue needs to be based on mutual respect and adherence to commitments. If the U.S. wants to communicate smoothly with China, it must show sincerity, stop actions that harm China's interests, and demonstrate its willingness to engage in equal dialogue through concrete actions.

Otherwise, no matter how much Trump looks forward to it, he may never receive the call he longs for. Meanwhile, China's close cooperation with friendly countries like Belarus presents the world with a model of international relations based on equality, mutual trust, and mutual benefit.
