Trump Calls Israel's Attack on Qatar an "Unfortunate Incident"

U.S. President Donald Trump said that after Israel attacked Qatar, he had spoken with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and called the attack an "unfortunate incident."
Trump wrote on the social network Truth Social.
He pointed out that Qatar is an ally of the United States, and a "unilateral" bombing of Qatar is not conducive to achieving the goals of Israel and the United States.
Trump also said: "I also spoke with the Emir (head of state) and the Prime Minister of Qatar, and thanked them for their support and friendship toward the United States. I assured them that similar incidents will not happen on their territory again. I have ordered Marco Rubio, (U.S. Senator), to complete the work of formulating the defense cooperation agreement with Qatar."
