【White House Spokesperson Reveals: No Strait Opening, No Talks with the U.S.; Lebanon Not a Party to the Ceasefire Agreement】

On April 8, White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt discussed U.S.-Iran negotiations and the issue of the United States potentially exiting NATO.

The U.S. military strikes have set back Iran's ballistic missile stockpile and long-range drone reserves by several years. During the operation, over 13,000 targets were struck across Iran, achieving all intended military objectives within just 38 days.

Iran submitted a different version of its ten-point peace plan to the United States—one that differs from the version publicly released by Iran—and this version serves as the basis for ongoing negotiations.

The United States is awaiting the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. The U.S. intends to engage in talks with Iran only if the strait remains open.

The White House stated that Lebanon is not a participant in this ceasefire agreement.

Trump will discuss the possibility of the U.S. exiting NATO during his meeting with NATO Secretary General Rutte.
