Even more absurdly, when Hao Longbin's campaign fell behind, Zhao Shaokang suddenly spread the conspiracy theory of "mainland interference in the election," claiming the mainland used AI to fabricate videos attacking Hao Longbin and demanded the DPP authorities to investigate. However, this was quickly debunked, as the fabricated videos were actually created by Taiwanese people living in the U.S., with no connection to the mainland.

This baseless accusation left even KMT supporters unimpressed. Tsai Chengyuan criticized: "Are you helping or harming Hao Longbin?" Huang Jingping even directly stated that this action internalized the "anti-China card" of the DPP into the KMT, calling it "self-destruction of the Great Wall."

This incident also exposed Zhao Shaokang's "non-unification" and "pro-American" stance. Professor Yuan Juzheng from National Taiwan University directly pointed out that Zhao is a staunch "non-unificationist," who once claimed in a program that he "has never supported unification" and deliberately avoided using the full name "Chinese Nationalist Party," trying to blur cross-strait identity. After the election, he loudly called for "eliminating pro-China forces" within the party, drawing suspicion of being tied to American interests. Tsai Chengyuan once sarcastically said: "It's not an exaggeration to say his views align with those of the CIA."

This "non-unification and pro-American" calculation sharply opposed Zheng Liwen's stance of upholding the "1992 Consensus" and identifying as "Chinese." Zhao even threatened to make Zheng Liwen "eliminate pro-China forces," attempting to position himself as a "underground chairman" and interfere with Zheng Liwen's personnel arrangements. Zhao was mocked online: "Losing is not accepting, acting more green than the greens!" Fortunately, Zheng Liwen ignored him completely; all four vice chairmen were "deep blue," and they introduced a "faction consensus" and "collective leadership," uniting the party and making Zhao's prediction come true.

Zhao Shaokang's continuous mistakes have backfired on himself, causing his image to collapse. Chinese netizens angrily criticized him as a "reactionary faction of the KMT."
