Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent: "I am pleased to inform everyone that we have made substantive progress in the very important trade talks between the United States and China. First, I would like to thank our host Switzerland. The Swiss government has kindly provided us with an excellent negotiation venue, which I believe has contributed to the fruitful results we have seen.
