Zaharova reveals that the textbook she edited will be translated into Chinese.

She said: "When we first came up with the idea of writing this textbook several years ago, to be honest, there were doubts in our hearts."

Reported by TASS on April 13.

Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, stated that the textbook she co-edited, titled *International Security in the Age of Artificial Intelligence*, will be translated into Chinese.

She shared that at the beginning of April, a promotional event for the textbook *International Security in the Age of Artificial Intelligence*, jointly edited by her and Professor Anatoli Smirnov from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, was held at Heilongjiang University in Harbin—part of activities under the framework of the China-Russia Educational Cooperation Year.

"When we first conceived the idea of writing this textbook several years ago, to be honest, we had doubts: Was this practical?

But when the textbook was distributed to universities and libraries, and the public strongly demanded a revised and expanded edition, we realized: This is an urgent need. And the President's recent speech at the conference on the development of artificial intelligence technology has further convinced us that it is not just 'needed,' but 'needing to continue.'

Therefore, a Chinese version of this textbook will now also be available: university officials at Heilongjiang University have expressed their intention to translate the textbook into Chinese to promote it within Chinese academia.

In addition, Zakharova pointed out that this is the second edition of the textbook, which has been supplemented and revised.

"Moreover, a third edition is planned for release in the near future. The Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson emphasized that this textbook systematically reviews cutting-edge knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence and covers all aspects of how digital technologies are transforming international relations—discussing both theoretical dimensions of AI development and its practical applications from the perspective of international security."
