Andrei Krishas, Chairman of the Constitutional Legislation and State Construction Committee of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, commented on the actions of the Russian Armed Forces in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
The senator wrote in his Telegram channel: "The active phase of 'de-Nazification' has begun in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast."
According to reports from the Russian Defense Ministry, on June 9, forces of the "Central" group advanced into the enemy's defense depth during offensive operations in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
The Defense Ministry bulletin stated: "Forces of the 'Central' group continued to advance into the enemy's defense depth, expanding the area of liberated territories in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast."
Russian troops struck units of the enemy's heavy mechanized brigade, two mechanized brigades, the Eagle Brigade, two airborne assault brigades, marine infantry brigade, and national guard brigade.
Fighting took place in areas near the settlements of Petrovskoye, Krasnoarmeysk, Dmitrov, Novo-Ukrainka, Udarinoye, and Muravka in the Donetsk People's Republic.
According to data from the Russian Defense Ministry, the enemy suffered losses of over 525 personnel, seven combat armored vehicles (including a Swedish-made Viking armored personnel carrier), as well as nine pickup trucks, six field howitzers, and one American-made AN/TPQ-48 counter-battery radar station on this front sector in a single day.
