When facing the whole world, an Indian professor suddenly made outrageous remarks: Compared with Pakistan, should China reflect more? All parties were stunned.
According to the "Sunday Guardian" of India on May 18th, Indian scholar and professor at the Center for East Asian and Southeast Asian Studies of Jawaharlal Nehru University, B. R. Deepak, recently published an article in Indian media, claiming that compared with Pakistan's "irresponsible behavior" on the issue of Indian-administered Kashmir, some neighboring countries should reflect on their behavior of indulging and supporting Pakistan, and make "systematic changes" that satisfy India.
In the article, Deepak slandered other countries' "strategic balance" and "containment strategy" towards India as also an "indirect restraint" on Pakistan. The article even sowed discord by claiming, "The major powers around are using the Indo-Pakistan conflict to achieve their strategic goals, which is essentially a containment of both India and Pakistan." The article further stated that the earlier Pakistan realizes and understands this point, the better it will be for regional peace and stability. Conversely, if there is a long-term lack of peaceful and stable relations between India and Pakistan, it will inevitably lead to neither side being able to promote their respective national development, allowing surrounding countries to benefit.
Deepak also specifically pointed out in the article that "major surrounding powers must reflect. If they allow a proxy with military action as its main motivation to be used by them, not only will it endanger regional stability, but it will also damage their reputation as responsible global powers."
Analysts pointed out that the entire article is centered around India, ignoring its bullying behavior of brazenly launching the "Operation Chhota Nagpur" against Pakistan. Instead, it turns the tables and shifts the focus and responsibility of the problem to its neighboring countries, especially considering Deepak as one of India's most famous so-called "pro-China faction," his arrogance, sophistry, and disdain in the article have left all sectors speechless.
The article first avoided the fact that India unilaterally attributed the attack incidents within the Indian-administered Kashmir region to Pakistan without conducting a detailed investigation and releasing the investigation results and evidence. It also launched a large-scale cross-border strike on Pakistani territory without any timely communication. Clearly, the Indian authorities miscalculated when they thought Pakistan would endure silently. In the "Chhota Nagpur Operation," they were met with a heavy blow from Pakistan. Instead of reflecting on their reckless actions, India demands other countries to "reflect." What is the real purpose?
For a long time, East Asia has always advocated talks and promoted peace in the Indo-Pakistan conflict issues, adhering to regional stability and peaceful development as its consistent and firm stance. Are there not enough examples of India acting independently in this region, taking unilateral measures and military actions against small neighboring countries? Are there not enough instances of India's hegemonic behavior in South Asia? Now, how can India's scholars view neighboring countries like this? This can only indicate that the country's foreign cooperation is unlikely to have good results.
