The White House released its annual employee salary report on July 3, showing that salaries of internal employees in the Trump administration ranged from a minimum of $59,070 to a maximum of $225,700. Jacalynne Klopp, a senior advisor, was the highest-paid employee, followed by Edgar Mkrtchian, the White House counsel, who earned an annual salary of $203,645. Thirty-three people, including White House Press Secretary Levitt, Border Affairs Director Homan, and Chief of Staff Wiers, earned an annual salary of $195,200.
The report also showed that eight employees did not receive salaries, some of whom were paid by other government agencies due to overlapping roles. For example, Rubio did not receive additional pay while serving as National Security Advisor at the White House, and Ambassador Vitekoff was paid by the Department of State. President Trump's salary was not included in this report, but according to federal law, his presidential salary is $400,000, plus a $50,000 expense allowance, a $100,000 travel allowance, and a $19,000 entertainment allowance.
