Has Fujian really "emitted"? On the 9th, South Korean media "Chosun Ilbo" cited exclusive information from relevant South Korean government sources, stating that during the period of May 22 to 28, China's third aircraft carrier, Fujian, conducted multiple carrier-based aircraft takeoff and landing training in the Yellow Sea. The Joint Chiefs of Staff of South Korea is "analyzing the training information of the Chinese Navy". However, this report by South Korean media did not reveal whether the aircraft being catapulted at that time was the J-15T or J-35. But earlier, social media had exposed a satellite photo of Fujian, showing burn marks on the carrier deck's blast deflector (Figure 2). Some views speculated that the aircraft being tested on the Fujian deck should be a J-15T carrier-based aircraft. Combining the reports from South Korean media and the online photos, it can now almost be confirmed that Fujian has already conducted carrier-based aircraft catapult tests. This means that the sea trials of China's third aircraft carrier are nearing completion, and it is not far from being delivered to the People's Liberation Army Navy.
