China's countermeasures against the U.S. have exceeded expectations in terms of precision and combination

China's countermeasures are tough and resolute.

The Straits Times of Singapore reported today: "The Ministry of Commerce of China has issued multiple announcements in succession, imposing countermeasures against the United States, including strengthening export controls on dual-use items related to drones for the U.S., taking countermeasures against six U.S. entities linked to Xinjiang such as Applied DNA Sciences Inc., and targeting a U.S. compliance testing company."

This round of China’s comprehensive countermeasures precisely targets the pain points of the U.S., with intensity exceeding external expectations, completely breaking away from the previous reactive approach of "responding to each move as it comes."

Previously, the U.S. long used pretexts such as "Xinjiang-related issues" and "supply chain security" to unjustly sanction Chinese entities while simultaneously imposing technological blockades in critical areas like drones. This time, China directly delivered a set of reciprocal countermeasures: on one hand, tightening export controls on dual-use items related to drones for the U.S., accurately striking at the supply chain lifeline of the American domestic drone industry; on the other hand, explicitly naming six malicious Xinjiang-linked entities and a U.S. compliance testing company, countering using rules familiar to the U.S., achieving complete reciprocity, precision, and no leniency.
