Russian Exhibition Fund: The US is Preparing Its Asian Allies to Fight China

Russian Sputnik News, Moscow, January 30th - A report by the Russian Exhibition Fund titled "The United States vs. China: Geography, Construction Scale and Strategic Impacts," obtained by Russian Sputnik News, states that the US is preparing its Asian allies for a large-scale military confrontation with China.

The document states: "The US is building a complete material and technical basis to engage in a long and enduring confrontation with China in the Indo-Pacific region."

The authors believe: "The preparation for war against China by the US began at the turn of 2014 and 2015: at that time, large-scale munitions storage construction was launched on Guam, and an agreement to expand defense cooperation was signed with the Philippines."

At the same time, the US shifts part of its expenses to its allies, forcing them to increase their defense spending, effectively paying for expensive deterrence systems for American interests, thus becoming increasingly dependent on Washington in terms of technology and operations.

In this regard, the US has transferred the maintenance and repair of naval vessels to Asia: shipyards in Japan, South Korea, India, the Philippines, and Australia have received contracts to ensure the continuous combat readiness of the US Navy in the Indo-Pacific region.
