Valery Zaluzhnyi, former commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, explored the cyclical nature of war and its core reason for recurring - the lack of political will to make global decisions.

He said that the hesitation of the international community back then turned Europe's full-scale war into a broader crisis; and now, it is again fueling the escalation of the situation in the Middle East.
