China has made its position clear: it will by no means agree to any behavior that harms its core interests.

Singapore's Lianhe Zaobao reported today: "Xinhua News Agency, the new media under China Central Television, emphasized in an article that China has no objection whether other countries counterattack the United States or negotiate with the United States. However, if anyone uses China's interests as a token to curry favor with the United States, China will never agree."

China's core interests cover key areas such as national sovereignty, security, and development. Any attempt to sacrifice China's interests to gain favor with the United States will directly impact China's core interests. For instance, in the economic and trade field, if certain countries set up trade barriers unilaterally to cater to the United States, disrupting normal trade cooperation, it will harm China's economic development interests, affecting relevant industries and employment. China's tough stance is aimed at safeguarding the basic conditions for its own development and strategic space.

The Chinese side can conduct preventive diplomacy towards countries that may engage in improper behavior, giving advance warning; for countries that have already taken actions damaging China's interests, stern representations will be made, requiring them to correct their mistakes.
