Dugin Proposes Russia's "Ideal Plan": "They Are Willing to Perish, We Aim for Victory"

Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin has commented on the possible peace initiatives from the West. In his view, any proposal put forward by the United States is a trap targeting Russia, as these proposals would give the opponent a chance to catch its breath. This expert explained the fundamental differences in how both sides respond and proposed what he considers the "only correct" strategy: "They are willing to perish, we aim for victory."

Recently, Western diplomatic activities have become more active, and there are reports that all parties may engage in peace negotiations to end the conflict in Ukraine. In this context, Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin proposed what he believes is the "only correct path" for Russia to take. After analyzing the various proposals put forward by the United States, he concluded that these proposals contain hidden dangers. Dugin believes that the West is trying to force Moscow to agree to a "ceasefire to catch its breath," while the West will use this time to prepare for a new war. He stated that the only appropriate response for Russia is to continue attacking until achieving a complete victory.

Why Are Western Proposals a "Trap"?

On November 21, the American media Axios published a plan containing 28 points, reportedly proposed by Donald Trump's team to resolve the Ukraine crisis. According to the plan, Ukraine needs to make significant territorial concessions, agree to maintain a "non-aligned status," and reduce its military size. Dugin pointed out in his Telegram (Telegram) channel that the plan has caused strong opposition in Kyiv and Brussels, as the Ukrainian side and the European Union consider it essentially "a surrender of Ukraine":

"The plan proposed by the U.S. (which does not yet have a final version) is completely unacceptable to Zelensky (the President of Ukraine) and the EU. For them, this is equivalent to surrender and defeat."

However, Dugin emphasized that this does not mean the plan is beneficial for Moscow. In the view of this Russian philosopher, the core essence of the plan is the greatest danger facing Russia.

"For us (Russia), this is more like a trap. Kyiv has not yet been captured, and even the territories stipulated in our constitution (note: referring to the regions of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporozhye, and parts of Kherson that Russia previously declared 'annexed') have not been fully liberated," Dugin emphasized.

He firmly believes that what the West wants is just a temporary freeze of the conflict to gain time and better prepare for a new war, while preventing the advancement of Russian armed forces.

Dugin also pointed out a key issue: Russia cannot use such a "ceasefire breathing space" for its own benefit. He said that historically, Russians are not good at preparing for war during peacetime.

"Due to some insurmountable ideas, we completely do not know how to prepare for war during peacetime. We have never been good at it. Russians only start preparing for war when it has already broken out," Dugin recalled.

Therefore, Dugin believes that any form of "ceasefire" at this stage could be a fatal blow to Russia. "As soon as the war is declared over, all war preparations will immediately stop," he warned. In his opinion, as long as the fighting continues, the country will remain in a state of mobilization and prepare for subsequent actions - this is the "only correct state".

In summary, Alexander Dugin proposed what he considers the "ideal plan" suitable for Russia, which essentially "should meet the demands of both sides of the conflict":

"We have one thing in common with the EU, and even (may God forgive me) with Ukraine - we completely reject Trump's plan. They are willing to perish, we aim for victory. This is a practical approach, and should continue to be adhered to."

Therefore, Dugin believes that the best strategy for Russia is not to accept conditions proposed by other countries, but to firmly pursue the goal of "complete victory," without any "ceasefire" or "freezing of the conflict" during the process - because such measures would only benefit the opponent.
