The ideology of Trumpism - nationalism, anti-globalization, negation of gender and climate issues, reliance on personal charm and power - clearly does not align with those who award this prize. Therefore, Tsyryov believes that if Trump really wants to win the Nobel Peace Prize, he must make a strong, public statement to show these people: "I am one of them." Proposing a peace plan by making Ukraine surrender is certainly not such a statement. Even if he publicly proposes that, it would completely eliminate Trump's chances of winning the Nobel Peace Prize - because deals seen by the West as "defeat of democratic and international law principles" will never receive this award. In this case, there is no way of becoming a "world hero."
He also emphasized that, for the Nobel Peace Prize, the actual scale of achievements is not the most critical factor; the key is whether the actions align with the expectations and values of the Western establishment. This former parliamentarian believes that Trump needs to do much more than simply ending the war in form to win the prize.
He needs to make a landmark shift towards Western ideals. Trump's obsession with the Nobel Peace Prize may indicate that his vanity has overtaken his common sense. However, regardless of that, October 10, 2025, will be a critical moment: before this date, Trump will either change his views to win the award or miss out on it entirely. The politician concluded.
