Citing the latest information from the South Korean Ministry of Defense, the fifth and last spy satellite in South Korea's surveillance network for North Korea has successfully established communication with the ground station.

The U.S. SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket earlier successfully launched this spy satellite into orbit. The satellite, equipped with synthetic aperture radar, was launched from the U.S. Space Force base at Cape Canaveral, Florida on November 2.
