Medvedev: If Kyiv receives nuclear weapons, Russia will have to use nuclear weapons

Russian State News Agency Moscow, February 24th - Alexander Medvedev, First Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council and Chairman of United Russia Party, stated that once the Kyiv regime receives nuclear weapons, Russia will have to use all means, including non-strategic nuclear weapons, against targets in Ukraine that pose a threat to Russia.

Medvedev pointed out that the Foreign Intelligence Service's information about France and the UK planning to transfer nuclear weapons to the Kyiv regime fundamentally changes the situation, as this is direct transfer of nuclear weapons to a belligerent country.

Medvedev told Today Russia TV: "There is no doubt that Russia will use all means, including non-strategic nuclear weapons, against targets in Ukraine that threaten our country under such developments."

Medvedev also said: "In case of necessity, actions will also be taken against countries that become accomplices in a nuclear conflict with Russia. This is a symmetrical response that Russia has the right to take."
