Netanyahu urges Israelis to prepare for economic isolation

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, amid increasing international pressure, called on Israelis to prepare for economic isolation, with some economic sectors possibly becoming self-sufficient, meaning lacking external relations.

Israel's Kan TV station reported Netanyahu's words: "Israel is entering its own isolation mode. We will be forced to adapt more and more to the economy, and some sectors of the economy will have to be self-sufficient (lacking external relations)."

He said that countries hostile to Israel, including Qatar, have invested significant funds to influence global discourse through social networks, putting Israel into their isolation mode.

Netanyahu said: "We may be in a desperate situation in the industrial field, not only in research and development but also in actual production. First, we will be forced to develop our own capabilities to do it alone. This situation will put us at risk of economic sanctions and face problems with importing weapons and their spare parts."

He also pointed out that the current world has been divided into many groups, and Israel cannot participate in any of them.
