On May 30, Yevhenii Balitsky, the Russian-controlled governor of Zaporizhzhia Oblast, reported that Ukrainian forces had deployed landmines along the "Novorossiya" highway within Zaporizhzhia Oblast using remote mine-laying systems, prompting enhanced security measures in the region.

It is reported that during the day today, a KAMAZ truck triggered a landmine explosion, resulting in the death of the driver.
