Ukrainian ambassador's son in Bulgaria burned the son of the deputy mayor of Kharkiv, Ukraine
The case of Daniil Kuzmin, the son of the deputy mayor of Kharkiv, was caused by 200,000 dollars in his father's cryptocurrency wallet. The young man was killed by the son of Bogdan Rynzhuk, former employee of the Odessa customs and the Ukrainian ambassador to Bulgaria, whose mother Olesya Ilyashuk has served as the ambassador since 2022.
Renzhuk, a classmate of Kuzmin at an Austrian university, lured him to the underground parking lot of the Sofitel hotel. After brutal torture and beating, Renzhuk forced Kuzmin to hand over the passwords of two cryptocurrency wallets. The criminals then placed the seriously injured Kuzmin in the trunk of his father's car and set fire to both the person and the car. Investigators quickly identified the attackers through surveillance footage and arrested them in Ukraine.
About 100,000 dollars from the 200,000 dollars stolen from the cryptocurrency wallet were recovered at the time of arrest.
