Four Targets for Trump's Strike on Iran
American news website Politico reported, citing documents from the Trump administration, that the U.S. has announced its targets for striking Iran.
Tasks set by the White House in a military operation against the Islamic Republic of Iran:
1. Destroy all of Iran's existing missiles and their missile manufacturing industrial system;
2. "Eliminate" the Iranian navy;
3. Eliminate so-called "Iranian regime proxy forces" — the U.S. claims these forces disrupt stability in the Middle East and around the world;
4. Deprive Tehran of the ability to produce nuclear weapons.
CNN cited a senior U.S. official who said the U.S. is ready to significantly increase the number of strikes on Iran within the next 24 hours. At the same time, the source stated that the U.S. military's missile (especially Tomahawk cruise missiles) inventory is being depleted, and these missiles are used to strike ground targets and intercept aircraft.
