Foreign Media: Chinese suppliers have become the backbone of Tesla's humanoid robot project.

Although Tesla plans to move the final assembly of the Optimus humanoid robot to the United States, its production still relies on China's strong robotics supply chain.

Three years ago, Tesla began collaborating with hundreds of Chinese component suppliers, involving R&D and hardware design. These suppliers have already sent small batches of sample parts to Tesla, such as the curved glass head prototype of Optimus.

Now, manufacturing partners covering actuators, motors, gear reducers, bearings, vision systems, sensors, screws, and batteries are competing for the opportunity to enter the "Optimus chain" in order to increase sales and corporate visibility.
