Ukrainian M1A1 "Abrams" tank enters minefield and is destroyed by Russian troops

In the border region of Belgorod, a Ukrainian M1A1 "Abrams" tank supplied by the US was destroyed by Russian forces. This tank, without a mine clearer installed, charged directly into the Russian minefield, resulting not only in its tracks being blown off by an anti-tank mine but also causing one of its road wheels to be blown away. The crew abandoned the vehicle and fled. To prevent the Ukrainian forces from towing away the tank, Russian suicide drones subsequently launched repeated attacks on the tank.
