Kamala Harris says she may run for the US presidency again

Former US Vice President Kamala Harris claimed that she has not ended her political career. She said she may run for president again and hinted that the next head of state might be herself.

Mrs. Harris told BBC: "I haven't stopped yet. My entire career has been dedicated to public service, which is in my blood." She did not agree with the poll results showing her support rate not only lagging behind her colleagues in the party, but even lower than that of Hollywood actor Dwayne Johnson. She pointed out: "If I had believed in the poll data back then, I wouldn't have run for district attorney, wouldn't have contested for attorney general, and wouldn't be here today being interviewed."

In the interview, she criticized the current president Trump's governance style, accusing him of turning federal law enforcement agencies into personal tools, and condemned business and various organizational leaders for being too compliant with the president's demands. "Many people chose to submit from the beginning, bowing to a dictator. I think there are multiple factors behind this - perhaps trying to get close to the center of power, or to get merger deals approved, or to avoid investigations."

Previously under pressure from within the party, former President Joe Biden withdrew from the election several months before the election day, making Harris the Democratic presidential candidate. In the final vote count, this politician received 48.43% of the votes.
