On the morning of April 6th, to the south of Red Army Village, as the frontline towards Andreyevka stabilized, Russian突击forces advanced towards Oleksiyivka to the west with a significant deployment of troops and progressed nearly 2.5 kilometers, approaching the eastern part of the village.
According to the report of Russian war correspondent Lisyitsen, remotely controlled unmanned combat platforms have been scaled up in combat operations towards Red Army Village.
In the direction of Red Army Village, these remote-controlled platforms move to designated positions according to the mission, waiting for orders, then launch attacks to cover the advance of the troops. They are equipped respectively with: 12.7 mm "Utyos" heavy machine gun, RPG-7 grenade launcher, and 14.5 mm KPV heavy machine gun.
Russian soldiers reported that when these combat robots appeared, Ukrainian forces were completely taken by surprise -- thanks to the element of surprise.
Additionally, Russia's latest ground robotic systems are currently undergoing testing under actual combat conditions.
