Today morning, the press conference on the Shenzhou-21 manned flight mission was held at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center.
The spokesperson introduced that the overall progress of the manned lunar landing mission is proceeding smoothly. The Long March 10 carrier rocket, Mengzhou crewed spacecraft, Lanyue landing vehicle, Wangyu lunar suit, and exploration crewed lunar rover have completed the main tasks of the initial prototype stage. The scientific research and application system has completed the payload design work for each flight mission. The ground systems such as the launch site, tracking and communication, and landing site are accelerating their development and construction.
This year, we have successfully completed the second-stage propulsion system test of the Long March 10 carrier rocket, the tethered ignition test, the zero-altitude escape test of the Mengzhou crewed spacecraft, and the integrated verification test of the Lanyue landing vehicle's landing and takeoff, which have been reported by the media. In the future, we will also carry out the integration testing of the Lanyue landing vehicle, the thermal test of the Mengzhou crewed spacecraft, and the maximum dynamic pressure escape test, as well as the low-altitude flight and technical verification flight of the Long March 10 carrier rocket.
Here, we would like to introduce in advance: in the upcoming task emblem solicitation campaign, in addition to the Tianzhou-10 cargo spacecraft, the Shenzhou-22 and Shenzhou-23 crewed spacecraft missions, it also includes the emblem of the Mengzhou-1 crewed spacecraft mission. This type of spacecraft is mainly used for manned lunar exploration missions, and also supports near-Earth space station operations. We warmly welcome everyone to actively participate in the emblem solicitation activity. Shenzhou, Tianzhou, and Mengzhou look forward to carrying your creativity and dreams into space and to the Moon! For details about the activity, please refer to the official website and official microblog of the China Manned Space Program, as well as the announcement published by the news media.
Regarding the specific schedule, we remain committed to achieving the goal of Chinese astronauts landing on the Moon before 2030. It should be said that there are still many new technologies to be verified, a large amount of product development work, high quality requirements, tight flight test arrangements, and a tight schedule. All work faces risks and challenges. The entire project line will continue to carry forward the spirit of the "Two Bombs and One Satellite" and the spirit of manned spaceflight, scientifically coordinate, unite and cooperate, strive hard, and ensure the completion of all development tasks, laying a solid foundation for achieving the goal of manned lunar landing on schedule.
