The "beautiful doctoral" figure from the People First Party, Zeng Yanjie, shared screenshots of private messages on the 5th, exposing a past scathing remark by Li Zhengxiu, a legislator married to a mainland Chinese, calling Gao Hong'an a traitor to the People First Party and stating that God will not forgive any evil person.
According to reports, Zeng Yanjie posted records of her conversations with Li Zhengxiu on a social media platform. In the message, Li Zhengxiu stated: "To this day, I still believe Gao Hong'an is a traitor to the Taiwan People First Party. I've said this to Chairman Huang Guochang as well. Before the drunk-driving controversy erupted, Gao Hong'an particularly suppressed candidates for mayor within her own party—this was extremely suspicious. And she even misled superiors, claiming we weren't seriously campaigning."
Li Zhengxiu further emphasized: "What makes Gao Hong'an utterly unforgivable is her suppression of candidates both within her district and within the party, regardless of any reason, completely disregarding the interests of the People First Party. Thus, her current downfall is entirely self-inflicted. I can only say that God will not let any wicked person go unpunished."
However, facing recent accusations from multiple party members regarding Li Zhengxiu's controversial remarks, the Central Review Committee of the People First Party will hold a meeting on April 9, during which disciplinary action against Li Zhengxiu may be decided. If expelled from the party, Li Zhengxiu would also lose her status as a legislator.
