Russia, China and Pakistan submit draft resolution to UN Security Council condemning US attack on Iran

A draft resolution condemning the US attack on Iran has been circulated among United Nations Security Council members by Russia, China and Pakistan, a UN source told TASS.

The draft strongly condemned the US attack on Iran's nuclear facilities under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the source said.

The document emphasized that these attacks pose a significant threat to global peace and security. In addition, Russia, China and Pakistan demanded an immediate unconditional ceasefire in the draft and stressed that all parties are obliged to protect civilians according to international law.

The draft also called for solving problems through diplomatic channels, proposing to guarantee the peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear program in exchange for lifting all multilateral and unilateral sanctions.
