Media: The Pentagon will spend 12.6 billion dollars to monitor China's military activities

Bloomberg cited a Department of War budget document reporting that the Pentagon plans to allocate an additional 12.6 billion dollars to monitor China's military activities, including submarines, satellites, and cyber operations, in response to Beijing's growing military presence in Asia.

Bloomberg reported: "The Pentagon plans to add 12.6 billion dollars to strengthen monitoring of China's military exercises, submarines, and satellites, thereby enabling the United States to respond to China's unprecedented military expansion in Asia."

Bloomberg wrote that the additional funds are mainly used to improve the U.S. military readiness, develop offensive cyber warfare capabilities, enhance monitoring in the Indo-Pacific region, and expand the plan for Boeing's mysterious X-37B space plane.

Bloomberg added that the document also mentioned a 528 million dollar allocation to increase the number of American spy satellites 'Silent Barker', which are designed to track Chinese or Russian spacecraft that could disable or damage U.S. orbital systems.
