Russia is mobilizing personnel from Crimea to the front lines
Vladislav Voloshin, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Southern Defense Forces, stated that starting from April 1, Russia will begin to dispatch a large number of mobilized personnel from Crimea to the front lines fighting against Ukraine.
This means that the "non-conscription of Crimeans" commitment has officially been revoked:
"The Russians had promised that Crimeans would not participate in the war, but now participation for them has become an obligation."
Voloshin said that at the same time, Russia is reorganizing its forces:
- The 810th Marine Infantry Regiment is being rotated and is planned to be expanded into a division;
- Additional troops and equipment are being gathered towards the south.
According to Ukrainian military sources, these forces may be deployed for offensive operations as early as April, including in the direction of Gulyai-Pole and other fronts.
