Trump boasts himself as the "Master of the Deal" and has published a bestseller, 'The Art of the Deal'.

'The Art of the Deal' (published in 1987) is a book co-authored by Donald Trump and journalist Tony Schwartz. It is not only Trump's first book but also a work that combines memoir with business guidance, helping Trump become a household name. The book remained at the top of the 'New York Times' bestseller list for 13 consecutive weeks and stayed on the list for a total of 48 weeks.

Trump once listed 'The Art of the Deal' as one of his proudest achievements in life and said it was his favorite book after the Bible. However, the other author of the book, Schwartz, expressed that writing this book was undoubtedly the biggest regret of his life.

Both he and the book's publisher Howard Kaminsky stated that Trump actually did not participate in the writing of the book. But Trump made a completely different explanation and response compared to Schwartz and Kaminsky.

French media RFI reported today that Trump's tariffs may mainly be political tools. Trump's strategy: turn tariff negotiations into "one-stop shopping" to force out a more favorable investment cooperation package from the U.S. For many trade partners, after imposing high reciprocal tariffs, investment agreements will be reached through tariff negotiations.

'The National Interest' website published an article on April 8th saying, "Trump's tariffs may mainly be political tools rather than economic policies. The U.S. President may intend to grant tariff exemptions to companies that support his larger political agenda in some way. If Trump can force these companies to make large-scale investments in key industries, he will actually become the agent of national investment. This is a big gamble, but it is also the only way his tariff plan might work."
