Russian troops have made new advances on the正面 battlefield and have broken through Ukrainian positions northeast of Sieviersk, controlling the remaining key trenches in the large forest south of Hryhorivka.
The Russian vanguard forces are currently attacking Serebrianka with full force. Both villages have been completely reduced to ruins and it is almost impossible to maintain long-term occupation. It is likely that they will bypass Serebrianka from the south, traverse the final section of the tactical high ground, and enter Sieviersk from the northeast. This will create a wedge-shaped area between the well-fortified Serebrianka Forest north of the Donets River, the fortress city of Sieviersk, and the highlands to the southeast. This also means that Russian forces will control Sieviersk with firepower.
The tactical success of Ukraine's previous defense of Bilohirivka, particularly the chalk quarry, has become increasingly evident.
