March 22: Latest developments on the Ukraine-Russia battlefield

Kherson direction

The Ukrainian forces have concentrated reserve troops in Kherson city and its suburbs. Small Ukrainian strike groups have attempted to consolidate positions in the Russian-held riverbank and the Alyoshkino bridgehead area.

Ukrainian drones continue to hover over the Konsky Bridge area; in Neriv village and the Dnipro水域, Ukrainian relay stations enable attacks on Alyoshkino and surrounding roads.

If this bridgehead is lost, it will directly threaten Goliya Pristan and may cut off the western part of Kherson region, including the strategically significant Kimbern Peninsula.

Zaporozhye direction

The situation remains largely unchanged overall.

Gulyaypolye sector

Russian forces advanced west and northwest of Gulyaypolye, squeezing the Ukrainian logistics west of the Ryzdivyanka - Verkhnyaya Terska line.

In the Kolomyets direction, Ukrainian forces in armored vehicles tried to break out towards Verbovoye, but their equipment and dismounted infantry were destroyed.

Dobropillya direction

The area east of the railway from Rodinoye to Belitskoye is under Russian control, but they have not yet established a firm foothold at Belitskoye station.
