The Russian Eastern Group continues to launch offensives within the Dnipropetrovsk region (the dashed line on the map is the boundary between the Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions). The latest achievement is the occupation of Sosnovka, located on the banks of the Voronaya River, which is at least four times larger than the village of Vorshe that was occupied earlier by the Russians. Occupying Sosnovka allows the Russians to cut the Mikhaylovka-Novonikolaevka road, which has recently become an actual circular road for the enemy forces in the eastern part of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

After capturing Sosnovka, the Russian Eastern Group has advanced 11 kilometers inside the Dnipropetrovsk region. At the same time, the Russian flanks have been expanded, and sustainable logistics support is being established.

Now, the forces of the Russian Eastern Group are about 2.5 kilometers away from Oleshty. Oleshty, along with Mikhaylovka, constitutes the main transportation hub in this direction. From this intersection to the main road of the Ukrainian forces, Dniproperovsk-Pokrovsk-Hlybokyye (marked in green on the map), is about 14 kilometers. Therefore, the Russian drone operators have already used drones to conduct "hunting" on this road. In addition, there is no densely populated area between Oleshty and the designated main road, which greatly increases the difficulty for the Ukrainian forces to further build defensive lines.
