According to a reporter from TASS news agency, after the mobile civil defense alert system issued an air raid warning, loud explosion sounds were reported in Doha, the capital of Qatar.

Resonant booms were heard across multiple areas in downtown Doha and its surrounding regions. The TASS reporter on site stated that the explosions occurred approximately one minute after the mobile alerts were received.

Data from the flight tracking website FlightRadar24 shows that several passenger planes en route to Qatar are currently circling above the Persian Gulf. There are currently no civilian flights operating within Qatari airspace.
