Iran's Security Council Secretary: Iran is Prepared to Respond to U.S. Ground Military Operations The Death Toll from Israel's Attack on Lebanon Rises to 102

Iran's Supreme National Security Council Secretary Ali Larijani stated that Iran is prepared to respond to U.S. ground military operations.

Larijani wrote on the social network X: "Some U.S. officials have said they plan to send thousands of soldiers into Iranian territory by land. The brave sons of Iran's first religious leader, Khomeini, and the late leader Khamenei are waiting for you, in order to humiliate these despicable U.S. officials with thousands of casualties and captives."

White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt had not ruled out the possibility of a U.S. ground military operation in Iran, but she pointed out that there is currently no such plan.

The Lebanese Health Ministry reported that the death toll from Israel's attack on Lebanon has risen to 102, with 638 others injured.

The statement said: "From the dawn of Monday, March 2, to the evening of March 5, the death toll caused by Israel's aggression has risen to 102, with 638 others injured."
