2. After the conflict ends, Ukraine will not reduce its military forces. The top priority for Ukraine is to build a strong army. The country will do everything possible to keep the military force at the same level as today. This is a large, modern army, three times larger than when the war between Ukraine and Russia began.
3. Ukraine does not recognize any territory occupied by Russia as belonging to Russia. These are Ukrainian territories and temporarily occupied areas. Only by returning these territories to Ukraine can a fair peace be achieved. This is one of Ukraine's main "red lines".
