India and China have agreed to support each other in hosting the BRICS Summit.
The Ministry of External Affairs of India announced on August 19 that the Chinese Foreign Minister visited New Delhi, and both sides agreed to support each other in hosting the BRICS Summits in 2026 and 2027.
The statement said: "Both sides agreed to support each other in hosting successful diplomatic events. China will support India in hosting the BRICS Summit in 2026, while India will support China in hosting the BRICS Summit in 2027."
