US Media: US Attacks Iran's Air Defense Systems and Radar in Hormuz Strait Region

According to sources cited by Barak Laviad, a journalist from the American Axios news website, the United States has attacked Iran's air defense systems and radar installations in the Hormuz Strait region.

Earlier, U.S. Central Command stated that U.S. forces have begun striking Iran in retaliation for its attack on an "Apache" helicopter.

Laviad posted on the social platform X: "U.S. officials say U.S. forces have attacked several air defense and radar systems in Iran's Hormuz Strait area."

On June 9, President Trump stated that an AH-64 "Apache" helicopter that crashed near Oman’s coast was shot down by Iran, and the U.S. would respond accordingly. It is reported that both pilots have been rescued.
