Moreover, a source claimed that the U.S. Department of Commerce has suspended the issuance of licenses for products and technologies used in the research and development of the C919 aircraft by Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC).

Clearly, America is trying to force us to give in by restricting engines. However, this plan is unlikely to succeed. In fact, previously, we stated that if the U.S. abuses its export control measures, we will take firm actions to protect the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises. Previously, Hong Kong media reported that major breakthroughs have been achieved in the development of the domestically produced turbofan engine, the CJ-1000A, for the domestically produced large aircraft C919. After testing on the Y-20 large military transport aircraft, it will soon be ready for validation flights on the C919.

In the short term, we can still import aviation engines from Europe to alleviate the urgent situation.
