Mongolia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, B. Battsetseg, is paying an official visit to the Philippines.
Ulaanbaatar, May 19, Mongolian News Agency, according to the information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Press Office, at the invitation of Philippine Foreign Secretary Enrique Manalo, Mongolia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, B. Battsetseg, paid an official visit to the Republic of the Philippines on May 18-20.
This visit is the first official visit by Mongolia's Minister of Foreign Affairs to the Republic of the Philippines in 41 years since 1984, and also a reciprocal visit after Philippine Foreign Secretary Enrique Manalo's official visit to Mongolia in 2024.
During the visit, Minister B. Battsetseg will meet with the President of the Philippines and the Speaker of the Senate. In addition, she will hold formal talks with Philippine Foreign Secretary Enrique Manalo and issue a joint statement. The main purpose of this visit is to expand friendly cooperative relations with influential ASEAN member state the Philippines, strengthen political dialogue, broaden cooperation between the two countries' foreign ministries, and exchange views on issues of common concern in international and regional affairs.
